We spent Father's Day in New Jersey, with Kevin's father (and family). It was a quiet day of hanging out in the backyard while the little ones splashed in the pool. The pool was a source of incredible indecision, and there was much getting into and out of and into and out of bathing suits, until at least one of the children ended up in the pool fully clothed, then naked. (And it wasn't one of mine! I think. They definitely ended up naked, but I don't think they were in the water.)
This is where I'm supposed to post a picture of Kevin with his children,
all smiles and sunshine. Except, I don't have one. So here's a rare one with me!
Since we had a bit of time to fill before going to Grammy and Poppy's (this 8 a.m. mass is really paying off!), we stopped at the Garden State Discovery Museum for a quick 90 minutes. Word to local moms: the time to visit is 9:45 on a Sunday morning. We may have been one of three families at the museum. It's not quite having a private tour, but close.
