some new developments at the pool, including:
Peter jumps in!
He's been jumping and diving in and showing a bit of fearlessness in the water. He also loves to throw a ball and swim after it. It makes for an early bedtime.
Lucy scavages for pool toys, especially dolls and goggles!
She found the toy closet with the abandoned and broken toys, and hasn't looked back. Once she found a mermaid and she didn't let it out of her arms for the rest of our visit.
Kevin comes!
I know he hates it when I call at 1 p.m. and say, "hey, we're going to the pool, do you want to come too?" But here's the thing: he wants to come. So why not invite him? Or at least remind him that he sits in a climate-controlled office while we swelter in the humidity and heat. Once he had the nerve to tell me that it was TOO COLD in his office and he needed an office sweatshirt. This was last summer when I was grotestquely pregnant and always hot. So what's the harm in an afternoon phone call, anyway?
Thomas's teeth!
Or as I like to call them, "is that what all the fuss was about?"
