Never, according to the preschool set. Aren't all parties birthday parties? So it was with some curiosity that we attended our storytime teacher Miss Kristin's bridal shower. No, birthday party. No, bridal shower.
Peter and Lucy helped me punch out a bunch of hearts and birthday cakes to use as confetti to make our gift card seem a little less...like plastic? Shaped hole punchers are at the top of my favorite craft supplies, especially now that Peter and Lucy can manage the punches themselves.
Of note at this party:
- Peter ate his cake; Lucy ate her frosting. Surprise, surprise.
- Seventeen (??) children wrangled into a photo with the always obliging Miss Kristin.
