(1) Sixty percent of FDR had to flee the farmer's market this morning when one member was sorely displeased with the treat selection at the bread table. In other news, Peter believes the purpose of the farmer's market is to get treats at the bread table.
(2) There was much jumping in the pool today, and swimming with heads underwater, and all sorts of other water dare-devilry. Lucy especially loves to jump in and dunk her head underwater. Watching Lucy's fearlessness helped push Peter to test his limits, too. They've also been trying to teach themselves to swim, to mixed, but improving, results. I have no doubt they'll be swimming by the end of the summer. (But with their swim floats.)
(3) I made the mistake of showing Lucy Bebe Gloton, the baby that drinks milky. She said, and I quote, "tell the computer that your little girl Lucy wants that baby that drinks milky and has a pink pacifier for her home."
(4) I told Peter that everyone has to break his arm sometime in their life, or else he's not had a very fun life. I sincerely believe this is true.
(5) Some dress-up activity this afternoon. Kissy, kissy, you two.
(6) I found the stroller Lucy has been coveting for months at the thrift store today. It's just like Penelope's! Also, since her family just stropped a load of stuff off at the thrift store, it may actually be Penelope's!
(7) And Thomas. He can play peek-a-boo! He'll cover one eye and his ear. Technique needs some work, but the intent is there. He'll also play with scarves and my hat. Plus, he can sign "twinkle" in Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, as well as twist his chubby little fists when singing Itsy Bitsy Spider.
