There have been few changes in our life that have been as revolutionary as "early church," or the 8 a.m. mass. It's always a miracle when we arrive on time, but it always pays off. As Kevin noted this morning, "it makes for a stressful morning, but it's 9:05 and we're ready for the rest of our day."
can you hear the chorus of giggles that accompanied this picture?
and the glee with which Lucy cried out, "WE'RE TOUCHING HIS PEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Today's "rest of our day" took us to Winterthur to play in the Enchanted Garden.
I really, really, really love this place. The children love it too. It always seems to inspire the best in them - creative play, thoughtful nature appreciation, silly games.
When Kevin comes, it makes our trip more than a bit easier, especially on a day when the children complain of being tired when you're walking uphill to the children's garden.
(And they were tired, too. They fell asleep on the drive home, and as a result, probably will be awake until midnight.)
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that about 80 percent of the reason we visited Winterthur today of all days is because it's national ice cream day! Kevin had just a bit of jealousy that we'd visited the Mexican ice cream store without him, and we promised to take him as soon as we could. Who knew that would be four days later?

Have been meeting to get here forEVER! Thanks for the reminder, looks like you had fun!!
