I'm not entirely sure why the kids love Uncle Kari so much, except for perhaps he asks them interesting questions and seems bemused by their antics.
Even though there had been extended chants of "Naughty Uncle Kari" in the days leading up to his arrival,* Peter and Lucy were super excited to see that he'd arrived.
If Kari was put off by the antics of two very excited preschoolers (and one cute baby), he didn't show it. Well, except for when they both started licking him at dinner. I'm pretty sure he wanted a shower after that.
As evidence of their love, here's the photo that they insisted on having taken, with real "I'm-giving-it-my-all" picture-posing smiles.
*Because Kevin dared to visit Kari and leave the children behind. Clearly, it's Uncle Kari's fault.
