On hand at baby Lilly's baptism party was a professional photographer/friend of the family who captured the day for Jason and Jen.
And even though the Davis-Ross children insisted that they "didn't like the photographer" and that's why they didn't smile when asked, there were some cute pictures in the bunch, including this gem:
I'll never understand the sister-kissing-brother shot, but I'll admit to requesting it and posing it, almost as if by instinct. Apologies in advance for the therapy down the road, Peter and Lucy. We'll start saving for your psychotheraptist now.
Here's one of all five Ross family cousins. Stay tuned for the photo at Thanksgiving, where we can line them up and count down their ages - 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0. It's been a busy four years in this family. I wonder who's on deck for 2012?
The complete Ross family, although since Lucy's half-hidden behind Jen, perhaps I should say 95 percent of the Ross family? Also, Jason and Jen would point out that the dogs are missing, so we'll call it 90 percent and leave it at that.
Peter and Lucy and baby Lilly. Kudos to brave first time parents who put their tiny newborn in the lap of rambunctious preschoolers. Peter took his task of protecting Lilly seriously - almost too seriously. In protecting her head, he nearly smothered her tiny face.
This boy knows how to pose, unlike his somewhat sullen-faced older brother and sister. His middle name should have been Flirt.
And not to be outdone, Lucy pulled out her tiny camera. Take that, professional photographer!
