I haven't posted about Lucy's wardrobe remixes lately, but don't assume that she's not off creating oh-so-interesting outfits from her three drawers of hand-me-downs and consignment store finds.
(It's this fact, that her clothes are acquired in such a haphazard way, which really lends itself to the je ne sais quoi of her style. You know it's interesting when she almost always starts from a place where nothing matches.)
Here's today's gem, taken post-lunch and pre-zoo.
- "New" bathing suit (dollar Tuesday thrift store find! just as her old suit disintegrated - perfect timing). What you can't quite tell from this picture is that yes, she's wearing the bottoms too.
- Pippi Longstocking hair, by request. She hasn't had a "hairdo" in so long she actually sat still long enough for me to put in pigtails and braid them.
- Criss-cross velcro sneakers. It's what all the cool kids do, apparently. She insists on this style, usually with her shoes on the wrong feet.
