Really, there are few highlights as awesome as getting a bag of hand-me-downs from our friends. When Peter and Lucy found two giant bags outside our car, from Miss Alicia and Miss Carol, they were so beyond excited. It was all I could do to keep them from pulling out all of the clothes in the parking lot.
Once we made it home - not inside, mind you, but home - the kids poured over their new clothes, eagerly searching out pink things and trains and reading labels to see what could be worn now and what could be saved for later.
It took about..oh, three minutes?...before Lucy decided to change clothes.
Peter followed suit.
So, thanks, "Misha-Wisha" and Miss Carol, both for the much-needed clothes and for a happy hour spent before dinner. (That was much needed, too.)
