Our backyard woods offers some great birdwatching. It's offered hours of entertainment as we sit at our dining room table and do school, eat meals, and craft.
Even the littlest Davis-Ross loves it. He'll climb up on a chair and cry "bird! bird!"
We don't spot anything tremendously unusual: many blue jays (accompanied by Lucy's "there's a gorgeous bird outside!"), woodpeckers, mourning doves, robins, and hawks.
