When Kevin takes off in an airplane, we make sure to go outside around the time of take-off and look for his plane to pass by. Do we see it? Probably not, but that's not the point.
We also offer simple prayers for the safety of the plane and the success of Kevin's mission, whatever it may be. Peter's particularly concerned that the pilot will stay awake during the flight and request "coffee and soda and candy for the drivers."
